Team Leader Air Quality Control Agriculture (a)

Agricultural emissions, expanding settlement areas, and high environmental demands require smart solutions. With us, you take responsibility in a socially relevant field and actively contribute to sustainable solutions for the living environment in the Canton of Lucerne.
Your tasks
- You develop the area of air quality control in agriculture conceptually and organizationally together with your team, set professional priorities, and design processes and working methods with a future orientation.
- You lead a team of three employees both professionally and personally, promote their further development, and actively shape the team development process.
- For the demanding enforcement of environmental regulations, for example in agricultural exhaust air purification systems, you ensure correct implementation and assess building applications, among other things, regarding compliance with minimum distances.
- You actively engage in projects, support the implementation and further development of the ammonia action plan, and promote professional as well as inter-cantonal exchange.
- As a connected specialist, you work closely with planning offices and cantonal specialist offices, contribute your expertise to spatial planning issues, and advise authorities as well as agricultural enterprises. In addition, you represent the specialist area internally and externally.
Your profile
- You have a university or university of applied sciences degree in a scientific-technical field and bring professional experience in air quality control.
- Experience in leading employees or complex specialist topics enables you to take responsibility in demanding issues.
- You are confident in dealing with environmental regulations and understand the interplay of expertise, enforcement, and practice; knowledge of spatial planning is an advantage.
- Targeted and confident communication with actors from administration, agriculture, expert committees, associations, and politics is one of your strengths.
- As a prudent, self-organized personality, you work in a structured and pragmatic manner, bring initiative, and are open to new forms of collaboration and leadership.
