Key factors are a strong supplier selection, rapid validation of use cases, and our uncompromising attention to detail.
As Head of Product, you are responsible for BLACKROLL's global product vision and strategy. You lead the entire product portfolio across all categories, develop future-proof product ecosystems, and jointly steer the development and international launch of successful products with your team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development and responsibility for the holistic product vision as well as a multi-year product roadmap.
- Strategic further development of the entire product portfolio (Recovery, Sleep, Smart & Digital) along market, customer, and company goals.
- End-to-end responsibility for product developments – from the first idea through validation to international launch.
- Leadership and development of the product team (currently 2-3 people),
- Close collaboration with internal interfaces such as Purchasing, Supply Chain, Digital, Brand, Marketing, and Sales.
- Ensuring compliance with quality, schedules, budgets, and profitability as well as product safety, legal conformity, and necessary certifications.
- Management of the entire product lifecycle including pricing, portfolio performance, and continuous optimization based on user, customer, and market data.
- Building strategic supplier and development partnerships and their continuous further development to ensure innovation, quality, and scalability.
- Systematic integration of responsibility and sustainability aspects into product strategy, development, and supply chain.
- Close cooperation with external experts and partners (physio, sleep, training, athletes) to further develop product design, functionality, and user experience.
- Close coordination with Brand, Marketing, and Sales to develop product positioning and go-to-market strategies for international markets.
Your Profile
- You have at least 8 years of experience in product management of end-consumer products, ideally in the areas of sports, health tech, wellness, wearables, or consumer hardware.
- You bring proven leadership experience in cross-functional product teams.
- You think strategically and develop clear, actionable product visions and multi-year roadmaps.
- You have experience from a brand-driven, design-oriented organization and have also worked in technology-supported product ecosystems.
- You have a solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and hardware development; experience with technology-supported or app-connected products is an advantage.
- You demonstrate a high quality standard for design, usability, and user experience.
- You bring strong analytical skills as well as entrepreneurial thinking and enjoy working hands-on in a dynamic, growing environment.
- You communicate very confidently in German and English.
- You bring passion for innovation, sustainability, and strong brands – and are enthusiastic about health, performance, recovery, and well-being.
