For our business unit "Weighing & Instrument Components" (MTWIC), which is leading in the industrialization and production of laboratory scales and other high-resolution gravimetric instruments, terminals, MFR force sensors, and circuit boards for the entire MT group, we are looking for a motivated and independent foreman / line manager in 2-shift operation 100% (all genders) at the Nänikon-Greifensee site with immediate effect. As a line manager, you coordinate the daily business as well as the work assignments of the employees in your line. You are the first point of contact for problems and contribute to continuous improvement. As a recognized expert in assembly, you also actively work on the line. In this role, you take on the following tasks: Operational tasks 80%: Assembly and repair of cells/products according to work instructions (WI) Ensuring on-time production and compliance with safety and operational regulations Instruction and training of employees according to WI Operation and functional check of the systems as well as troubleshooting simple faults in first-level support Performing cleaning tasks and promoting daily shopfloor management (SFM) Independent implementation of optimization ideas (CIP) and adherence to 5S standards Support in the industrialization of new products and handling of SAP Leadership tasks 20%: Professional leadership of the lines and ensuring the flow of information Allocation of employees and floaters between areas Initiation and support of changes and optimizations of WI and processes Professional deputy of the team leader in daily operational business
