The Project and Process Management Department (DPP) is a unit attached to the general management.
Its main missions are:
Ensure the steering and management of major projects
Professionalize project management
Manage project portfolios
Develop the organization and support the change towards an agile culture
Job Description
The DPP is looking for two project management interns to contribute to the missions of its two divisions :
A mission supporting the institution's major projects (new organizations and evolution of associated infrastructures) with a strong component in project planning and document management, in direct and close contact with senior project managers and interacting with medical-care and support teams.
A mission supporting the institutional Project Management Office (PMO) with contribution to the 2026-2030 institutional strategy : participation in organizational projects with strategic scope, support on projects aimed at process simplification, contribution to process description and modeling, collaboration with various HUG services and professionals.
You work within a cross-functional and versatile team and participate daily in project management. Your mission is to jointly organize an institutional event dedicated to promoting projects and professionalizing project management practice.
During this internship, you will understand project management in the hospital field, in its conceptual and relational dimensions, as well as administrative and organizational, within an expert and dynamic team.
Qualifications
You are at the end of your master's degree and are pursuing training in engineering, management, or administration, with a component in project management, adult education, innovation, or sustainable development. You must complete an internship within your curriculum and have an internship agreement.
You are a flexible, rigorous, organized person with good interpersonal skills, able to work independently and in a team while developing harmonious relationships with your contacts. You demonstrate diplomacy and social skills.
You act methodically and show listening skills, curiosity, and communication (oral and written). You like to structure and diagram. You have been able to apply these strengths during a first significant professional, student, or internship experience.
You have an interest in topics related to organization and the hospital environment as well as project planning. You have good writing skills and use office/collaborative tools.
