The geriatric psychiatric acute ward G2, focusing on the treatment and support of people with depression, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders in old age, fulfills its mission within psychiatric basic care with an average of 19 beds. The therapeutic offer includes a differentiated assessment and patient-specific treatment, support and therapy as well as planning of discharge management under psychological, biological and social aspects. The nursing offer with a holistic approach supports the lived reference person system.
We are looking for a committed personality in agreement with you as:
Your tasks
- Nursing, care and counseling of patients aged 65 and over as well as their relatives, especially in complex situations Implementing the individual nursing process
- Collaboration within the framework of a multimodal, multiprofessional psychiatric treatment and support
- Supporting the psychotherapeutic process
- Designing and implementing the daily structure and leisure activities of the patients
- Responsible for maintaining contact with relatives and trusted persons
- Supporting professionals in the training of apprentices and students on the ward
Your profile
- Recognized professional training in the field of nursing HF/FH (recognition certificate from the Swiss Red Cross for a foreign diploma)
- Ideally professional experience in the fields of psychiatry and/or gerontology
- Enjoy working with patients and a high degree of responsibility
- Flexibility and resilience in a constantly developing team
