In this responsible role, you ensure the protection of health from harmful effects caused by tobacco products and electronic cigarettes. You ensure that the requirements of federal legislation are followed and implemented in the Canton of Lucerne.
Your tasks
- In this newly created position, you enforce the federal tobacco products legislation and develop this area together with your supervisor.
- For this purpose, you independently carry out official controls, inspect businesses on site, collect samples for analytical examination, and assess the examination results.
- You prepare inspection reports, determine the necessary corrective measures, and ensure their implementation.
- As an additional task, you participate in expert groups and represent our office in your field.
Your profile
- You have a scientific education (Bachelor or Master) and several years of professional experience in quality assurance or production of food, chemicals, or tobacco products.
- Furthermore, you have a confident and friendly demeanor and find it easy to approach people. Your good intuition for people distinguishes you, and at the same time, you bring the necessary assertiveness. Your oral and written expression is confident and fluent.
- You are an organizational talent and have a flair for legal and analytical issues.
- In addition, you hold a category B driving license and are willing to use your private vehicle for field service with compensation.
