The clinic is recognized by the FMH as a training center for the specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy (2 years inpatient, 2 years outpatient), as well as by the SAPPM (2 years).

Our outpatient clinic in Aarau is centrally located directly at the train station and has a large catchment area. We offer outpatient psychiatric treatments and outpatient psychotherapies with various methodological approaches for adults.

We wish for a communicative and flexible personality who enjoys working with people and handling diverse tasks.

You can expect a lively, friendly team consisting of secretarial staff, doctors, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, and a social worker.

Your tasks include

• Welcoming and informing our patients before and during outpatient treatment
• Maintaining telephone and written contact with patients, referrers, and health insurance companies
• Correcting and formatting medical/therapeutic reports
• Processing invoice rejections from health insurance companies
• Participating in team meetings and taking minutes
• Maintaining patient data in our administrative system
• Managing the ordering system

You bring with you

• Completed vocational training in commercial or medical service sector
• Experience in healthcare with solid knowledge in the field (medical terminology, tariff and social insurance system)
• Very good IT skills, ideally experience with "Navision" and "Polypoint"
• Independent and precise working style
• Interest in patient contact and good handling of stressful situations
• Customer-oriented and friendly demeanor

For our laboratory, we are looking as of October 1, 2025, or by arrangement for a

Medical Practice Assistant on an hourly wage basis as vacation cover (30%, approx. 6–8 weeks per year)

Your tasks

You would be deployed as a substitute for our current laboratory technician three mornings a week.

You are responsible for independently performing venous and capillary blood draws and laboratory analyses corresponding to a practice laboratory (blood count, dry chemistry). In addition, you are responsible for writing EKGs and polysomnographies.

You bring with you

You have completed training as an MPA and have several years of professional experience. You are used to working independently and can adapt to a flexible working style.

The Schützen Clinic Rheinfelden is a private clinic for psychosomatics, psychiatry, and psychotherapy with 108 beds, a day clinic with 24 places, and one outpatient clinic each in Rheinfelden and Aarau, recognized by health insurance companies. The inpatient departments are integrated into the hotels of Schützen Rheinfelden AG.

The clinic specializes in the treatment of adults with conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, psychosomatic oncology, somatoform and pain disorders, eating disorders, and personality disorders.

Psychology Internship 2027/2028

All internships last at least 3 months at a 100% workload and relate to the inpatient departments and the psychotherapeutic day clinic in Rheinfelden.
