The commercial support ensures that the administrative processes in social assistance and asylum social assistance function efficiently and reliably. As the team leader of the Phone & Mail team, you will take over the professional and operational management of this central area of responsibility from March 1 or by agreement. You are actively involved in day-to-day business and contribute significantly to the further development and optimization of the processes of the Social Services Winterthur through your commitment and strategic thinking.Your Tasks
- Personnel and professional management of a team with around six employees
- Operational work in the telephone switchboard, by receiving, answering, and triaging inquiries from our clients as well as external agencies
- Operational processing of incoming mail, including prioritization, organization, and allocation of physical and digital shipments according to the organization's responsibilities
- Organization, further development, and quality assurance of processes in the telephone switchboard and mail area
- Coordination of interfaces with other departments
Your Profile
- Commercial training and professional experience in a service-oriented administration with customer contact
- Initial leadership experience in a comparable function
- Professional handling of people in difficult situations, from different backgrounds and cultures
- High communication and service orientation, combined with empathy and confident written and oral appearance
- Strong organizational skills and enjoyment in structuring, prioritizing, and continuously improving processes
