Our business unit for analytical instruments within the Strategic Business Unit Material Characterization (MatChar) develops, produces, and markets high-quality, reliable, and innovative solutions for laboratory analytics. As a technology leader, we can contribute with our cross-functional core competencies to the compliance, safety, and productivity of our customers. To strengthen our team at the global operational headquarters in Nänikon-Greifensee, we are looking for an open, approachable person as a Technical Editor 80-100% (all genders). In this role, you will take on the following tasks: You create and maintain the user manuals for our thermoanalytical measuring devices of various product families. You write and update the user manuals as well as the online help for the extensive system software used to operate the measuring devices. You independently create linguistically and technically flawless, optimally structured, and target group-oriented content in English based on your own concepts. You coordinate the translation processes of all user manuals. You are responsible for the localization of the system software and are significantly involved in the localization process using a localization tool. You work closely in interdisciplinary product development projects with the departments of design, electronics, software development, product management, and application laboratory. You actively incorporate new technological trends into your work.
