To strengthen our multipurpose plant operations at Arxada, Visp, Switzerland we are looking for an Operator in chemical production.

Your tasks:

• Perform work safely and independently in compliance with safety regulations (SiVo),
• You monitor production, control and analyze process parameters, identify and resolve disruptions, and safely start up and shut down production equipment according to specifications 
• You are responsible for the independent execution and documentation of workflows and rounds in the production plant according to the specification documents
• Working with the computer (Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP as well as process control systems) completes your range of activities

Your profile:

• High commitment to strengthening the safety culture
• You have completed vocational training (EFZ) or an equivalent qualification and are motivated to work shifts (including night shifts and weekends; 4-shift model)
• Experience as an operator in chemical production or service companies and in handling process control systems is advantageous. Career changers from other fields are welcome 
• You are interested and willing to learn new technologies and continuously further your education 
• Very good German language skills are mandatory
