Annual information on drinking water quality
"Uedliger" drinking water meets the requirements of the ordinance of the FOPH on
drinking water as well as water in publicly accessible baths and shower facilities (TBDV)
Also in 2024, the Udligenswil water supply handed over several sample collections for bacteriological and chemical examination to the Food Control Service of the
Canton of Lucerne, on behalf of self-monitoring according to the requirements of the Food Law
(LMG) and the Food and Consumer Goods Ordinance (LGV).
At regular intervals throughout the year, such samples are taken from the own groundwater abstraction in the Bunnig area, as well as at different locations in the distribution network of the supply area in the municipality of Udligenswil, and subjected to a detailed
quality control.
The results show that the "Uedliger" drinking water at the time of sampling each time met the legal requirements; ordinance of the FOPH on drinking water as well as water in publicly accessible baths and shower facilities (TBDV) and has impeccable drinking water quality. The long-term observation and the course of the
quality data confirm the current investigation results.
According to the ordinance of the FOPH on drinking water as well as water in publicly accessible baths and shower facilities of December 16, 2016, Article 5, drinking water suppliers have an
information obligation towards intermediate and end consumers, which must inform comprehensively about the quality of the drinking water at least once a year.
The responsible personnel for the water supply contribute with great commitment to ensure that in the future, at any time, high-quality drinking water with sufficient pressure and in adequate quantity can be distributed to the population of Udligenswil.
