• Development of innovative lighting concepts for our vehicles
• Evaluation of customer requirement specifications and standards to create concepts and specifications as well as definition of hardware functions and interfaces
• Assessment of constructive and normative requirements, examination of implementation possibilities (including manufacturing and cost-effectiveness) as well as development of decision-ready solutions
• Creation of light calculations and lighting simulations
• Close collaboration with other engineering departments as well as purchasing and production
• Support during commissioning as well as system and type tests of the vehicles

• University degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics (ETH, TU or FH)
• Further training in the field of lighting technology or technical optics
• Industry knowledge in plant, machinery, or rail vehicle construction
• German and English skills, spoken and written
• Willingness to travel (approx. 15%)
