The financial administration is the competence center for finances and their execution in the cantonal administration. The Planning and Controlling department supports the cantonal offices as well as the government council in business management matters and advises the political municipalities on accounting issues.
For the Planning and Controlling area, we are looking for a male or female specialist immediately or by agreement
In this role, you accompany and coordinate the processes of budget and financial planning, business reporting, and controlling for the cantonal administration. Furthermore, you are responsible for financial equalization and financial statistics of the Thurgau municipalities. You support the department management in creating and evaluating various analyses from a corporate perspective and are responsible for meeting deadlines. In addition, you ensure efficient workflows and optimize existing processes if necessary.
You bring a higher commercial education at FH level and several years of experience in finance and accounting (HRM2) or controlling. Your experience in a similar area in the public sector is important to us. Also, a flair for numbers, very good Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint), and a confident command of German are important skills. You are an open, service-oriented personality, think economically, and enjoy working independently with a high level of quality awareness.
