Assistant Psychologist within the University Neurorehabilitation Service
The University Neurorehabilitation Service (SUN) of the Department of Clinical Neurosciences (DNC) is looking for a 60% assistant psychologist to strengthen its team from February 1 to May 31, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of UNIL and EPFL, it plays a leading role in care, research, and education.
The Department of Clinical Neurosciences (DNC) includes:
- the neurosurgery, neurology, neuropsychology, and neurorehabilitation services,
- the Leenaards Memory Center,
- the Neuroscience Research Center,
- the Spinal Surgery Service.
It provides integrated and personalized care for patients suffering from central and peripheral nervous system disorders.
The University Neurorehabilitation Service (SUN) works with people presenting various types of brain injuries: traumatic brain injuries, strokes, multiple sclerosis, brain tumors, encephalitis, etc. The service offers specialized interdisciplinary care, from the hospital phase to outpatient care.
Mission
- You provide clinical services under the supervision of specialist neuropsychologists FSP and the senior physician, to patients with brain injuries
- You participate in clinical, family, and network meetings and contribute to the interdisciplinary coordination of care
- You ensure the administrative follow-up of your services (planning, billing, documentation)
- You collaborate, by delegation, in interdisciplinary working groups of the SUN or DNC
- You contribute to the development of diagnostic and rehabilitation tools and take part in the service's research projects
- You participate in teaching and continuing education activities, sharing your knowledge and enhancing your clinical skills.
Profile
- You hold a Master’s degree in psychology or an equivalent qualification
- You have at least 4 years of experience in clinical neuropsychology at 80–100%, or 6 years at at least 50%
- You have solid knowledge in neuropsychology, both in assessment and rehabilitation
- You master spoken and written French and have good knowledge of English, especially for scientific literature
- You master at least one other language, allowing you to conduct an examination or care in that language
- You are proficient with basic computer tools
- You hold a driving license.
Depending on your profile, the salary class will be between levels 9 and 11
