Specialist Medical Coding

The SwissDRG KVG Service Center processes services provided within the framework of inpatient treatments. Are you familiar with medical coding, have advanced medical education, and enjoy making decisions?

• Independently reviewing and assessing SwissDRG, STReha, and Tarpsy cases is part of your daily work.
• For well-founded decisions, you conduct interdisciplinary case discussions with the caseworkers and the trusted physician up to the legal service.
• You actively contribute to further developing the semi-automated coding review and quality.
• You derive appropriate measures from regulatory and tariff requirements.

• Several years of experience in medical coding and completed training as a medical coder
• Advanced medical or nursing education (certified nurse HF/FH, expert in anesthesia care NDS HF, certified expert in intensive care NDS HF or similar)
• Good analytical skills combined with an independent and structured approach
• Targeted communication skills as well as decisiveness and assertiveness
• German spoken and written – ideally French or Italian language skills
