About the job

In this important interface role between the Network business unit, the entire AEW, and other stakeholders, you and your team skillfully operate between network economics, network usage, and regulatory management, develop network products, and maintain contacts with key stakeholders and network customers.

Your tasks

Leading the team with 5 employees
Ensuring legally and regulatory compliant network usage, implementing regulatory requirements, and reporting to the regulator
Calculation and recalculation of network usage prices as well as development of network products and tariff design
Medium- and long-term calculation of network cost development and balancing with strategic asset management, including benchmarking of network costs
Leading the budgeting process for the Network business unit
Further development of the network product portfolio with a focus on digitalization, increasing decentralized generation plants, and implementation of new regulatory requirements
Advising network customers regarding network products
Responsibility for plant and network evaluations as well as further development and conclusion of network connection and concession contracts

Your profile

(Technical) university degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, industrial engineering, or comparable
Several years of experience in the energy industry, ideally with knowledge of electrical distribution networks
Sound knowledge of network economics processes in a regulated environment as well as in network tariff calculation
Knowledge in asset management is an advantage
Leadership personality with pronounced process and system orientation
High decision-making ability in complex, interconnected tasks
Negotiation skills and strong customer orientation
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Strong communication skills and confident appearance towards internal and external stakeholders
High initiative and willingness to shape in a dynamic environment
