About the job
As part of the continuous development and operational strengthening of our Web Register RD&E Team led by Loïc Bovay, we open a position of Engineering and Support Specialist.
In this role, based in Mex, Switzerland, you will contribute directly to the reliability, quality, and long‑term evolution of our Web Register solutions. The selected candidate will work closely with R&D, Product Lines, and Service teams to support the full product lifecycle, from validation and testing to deployment and technical assistance.
This position represents an opportunity to join a core technical team, reinforce our internal expertise, and support the consistent delivery of robust, customer‑ready technologies across our portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Engineering & Support Specialist, you are to become the technical reference
throughout the entire product lifecycle—from development and validation to customer deployment and support. This position has a strong customer and service support orientation. Technical Support and expertise
Testing, validation and quality
- Provide high‑level technical support to internal teams and customers.
- Perform on‑site troubleshooting and commissioning of new product features (~20% travel).
- Monitor product performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Documentation and training
- Plan and execute functional tests for new hardware and software developments.
- Validate new features internally and at customer sites.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our testing and validation standards.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Develop and maintain technical documentation (manuals, protocols, procedures).
- Prepare product configurations and corresponding software settings for customer orders.
- Deliver training to service teams and technical trainers.
- Work closely with R&D, Product Lines, and Service to enhance product robustness and usability.
- Contribute to drafting product specifications and technical requirements.
- Bring valuable field insights to support product evolution.
YOUR PROFILE
Technical skills
Soft skills that make the difference
- Technical diploma (at least CFC–ES or equivalent) in electrical engineering, automation, or mechatronics.
- Experience in industrial equipment support, testing, or commissioning.
- Strong hands‑on skills in hardware/software integration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP is a plus).

- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
- Passion to internal and external stakeholders' satisfaction.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and efficient way.

Travel: You are expected to travel 4 to 5 times per year during 2 to 3 weeks to our customers' sites.
