The Health and Social Services Department is responsible for a wide range of tasks. It includes the areas of health and aging, statutory social assistance with labor integration, asylum services, as well as child and adult protection.
The goal is to provide needs-based support to people in different life situations, ensure social security, and professionally implement legal requirements.
- lead the two teams in the areas of child and adult protection and social assistance with around 32 employees.
- ensure the implementation of the municipal council's decisions and strategic goals.
- prepare reports and proposals for political bodies and maintain communication with commissions, authorities, social organizations, and residents.
- take over resource planning and coordinate the available resources efficiently and purposefully.
- have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (FH) or an equivalent qualification.
- are an experienced leader with business management know-how and project management experience.
- work in a structured, process-oriented, and team-oriented manner and are interested in municipal and cantonal political processes.
- listen attentively, think critically, communicate clearly, and act consistently.
