The Faculty of Psychology is one of the seven faculties of the oldest university in Switzerland. With our focuses on Society & Choice and Health & Interventions, we are nationally and internationally successful in research and studies.
In our faculty-owned test library, a position as an assistant is to be filled from 01.04.2026 on an hourly wage basis. The test library is affiliated with the Department of Forensic Psychology.
Your tasks
Together with another assistant, you are responsible for:- Management and organization of test lending
- Assistance in the continuous expansion and updating of the test library, e.g. through research on new releases, among other things
- Advice and support for students and faculty staff on psychological test procedures
- Support in the digitization of workflows, processes, and materials
Your profile
- Third year of bachelor's degree or first year of master's degree in psychology
- Independence, reliability, and sense of responsibility
- Enjoyment in dealing with students and service recipients
- Interest in scientific questions
- Knowledge and experience in conducting common psychometric tests (developmental, performance, personality, and clinical test procedures)
- You can work during the opening hours of the test library, i.e. usually one morning/afternoon per week during semester times, reduced during lecture-free periods, weekly hours by arrangement per semester (approx. 3h/week including preparation and follow-up time)
