Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Specialized Liaison Psychiatry Unit (UPLS) is attached to the CHUV Liaison Psychiatry Service (PLI). It coordinates and provides professional supervision to psychologists and psychiatrists specifically engaged within various CHUV services and care units (Palliative Care, Pain Management, Genetic Medicine, Oncology, Organ Transplant Center, Obesity, Reproductive Medicine, Pulmonology, etc.). They participate in certain PLI meetings. Assistants are supervised by the UPLS managers.
This position involves three to four specific activity sites:
The occupational medicine unit, directly attached to the CHUV Management, receives CHUV employees and offers specialized occupational medicine consultations. The team consists of specialized doctors and nurses; the psychologist receives, after medical advice, individuals consulting who present psychological or psychiatric disorders.
The cystic fibrosis consultation of the Pulmonology Service outpatient clinic consists of doctors and a specialized nurse who treat all medical problems related to the disease. A psychologist and a social worker may join the consultations depending on the problems presented by the patients. Depending on disease progression, other specialists (ENT, gastroenterologists, infectious disease specialists) participate in the consultation.
The tinnitus consultation of the ENT Service is a joint consultation with a psychologist and an ENT doctor whose mission is to detect psychiatric pathologies in patients suffering from tinnitus.
The location for the remaining 20% will be defined according to the possibilities of the service and the hired collaborator.
