About the job
We are looking to support our team with a Deputy Head of Service/Junior Head of Service for the relief/representation of our Heads of Service in the Brienzerburli/Löwen and Weisses Kreuz restaurants.
Are you a young, open, cheerful personality looking for an interesting, versatile task and enjoy variety and taking on responsibility?
Are you a host through and through and take pleasure in guest care? Do you like being at the front and pitching in with the service? Do smaller reception tasks such as check-in/check-out not pose a problem for you, or are you happy to be trained in this area?
Your Profile
- solid gastronomic training with professional experience, IT skills
- several years of experience in gastronomy/hospitality (including Swiss experience)
- punctual, reliable, team player
- independent working and willingness to help
- enjoy working with apprentices/interns
- good manners as well as pronounced leadership qualities
- sense of responsibility, trustworthiness, and discretion
Languages
- German & English required, French an advantage
Your Tasks
- Active participation in service (à la carte service, groups, half board, breakfast) with all related tasks in the restaurant area
- Relief/representation of the Head of Service
- Co-responsibility for the department, introduction and leadership of the service team
