Our Language Services coordinate translation assignments and are responsible for translating and proofreading texts related to intellectual property in four languages. These include legal texts and documents intended for specialists in Switzerland and abroad, as well as printed or online publications.

Your main tasks
Your main tasks
- Translate, mostly from German and sometimes from English, texts from all IPI activity sectors using Trados Studio, including machine translation with post-editing.
- Contribute to the quality assurance of internal or outsourced translations.
- Proofread texts written in French.
- Manage assignments (Trados Team) for at least two months.
- Contribute to the IPI terminology in French (Multiterm).
- Actively participate in the technological development of the system environment.
Your profile
Your profile
- Master's degree in translation or multilingual communication with the German-French language combination.
- Native French speaker with excellent knowledge of German and good knowledge of English.
- Experience in AI-assisted translation.
- Confident writing style, analytical and synthetic thinking.
- Reliability and precision.
- Team spirit and initiative, motivation, and seriousness.
- Good knowledge of the federal administration and Swiss political institutions, ideally, and interest in intellectual property.
