Oncology and haematology are innovative disciplines and key elements of medical care within our network. We work in modern premises in the centre of Bienne. The Oncology and Haematology Clinic of the Bienne Hospital Centre provides committed and interdisciplinary care for our patients.

We offer you a responsible role, a varied activity within a motivated team, as well as an attractive environment. The Bienne Hospital Centre has three certified cancer centres (colorectal centre, prostate centre, breast centre). We work closely with the University Clinic of Haematology and Oncology at the Insel Hospital in Bern and are a centre of the Swiss Cancer Clinical Research Society (SAKK).

Your tasks – our position

• Independent management of haematology consultations and treatments in the modern premises of the Hospital Centre at MEDIN Bienne
• Active participation and moderation of interdisciplinary tumour boards
• Collaboration and maintenance of good relations with referring physicians
• Participation in the training of assistant doctors and nursing staff
• Commitment to continuous optimisation of collaboration and processes
• Participation in the consultative follow-up of hospitalised patients

Your skills – our expectations

• Specialist title in haematology or equivalent recognised by MEBEKO, or specialised postgraduate training nearing completion
• Respectful, solution-oriented and integrative personality, with interest in interdisciplinary collaboration and good communication skills
• Ability to conduct a haematology consultation
• Sense of quality, with a focus on safe, efficient and resource-saving processes
• Commitment to postgraduate and continuing education of the next generation in haematology (doctors and nursing staff)
• Fluency in German or French at native level, with knowledge of the other language
• Experience in a Swiss hospital or good knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system is an advantage
