The European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology (EULAR) represents people with arthritis/rheumatism, health professionals, and scientific societies of rheumatology across Europe. EULAR is a non-profit scientific and educational association recognised by Swiss law.
The EULAR Communities Coordinator will be part of the Member Relations and Communities Department and will work closely with the EULAR National Organisations as well as coordinate the EULAR Communities in achieving our joint vision of improving the lives of people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases. Our highly collaborative team is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic team player with advanced organisational skills who can coordinate our Communities’ needs and enhance their visibility, growth and impact in a fast-paced environment. Your tasks:
- As EULAR Communities Coordinator, you will be a key member of the Member Relations & Communities team, coordinating initiatives with the EULAR National Organisations as well as supporting EULAR’s Communities in their projects and activities.
- You will be the primary contact point for our members and volunteers ensuring strong engagement and fostering meaningful communication across all levels.
- Support and organise regular virtual and in-person meetings, webinars, and other gatherings for each community.
- Assist with administrative tasks and daily routine duties such as documentation, note-taking, mailbox monitoring, answering requests, information distribution, preparation of PPT presentations, surveys, and reporting.
- Collaborate with community leaders to develop content for digital platforms, mass emails, newsletters and social media in close alignment with EULAR’s Communications department.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (EULAR team, external suppliers) and collaborate with EULAR Committees and Communities, EULAR National Organisations, and others to ensure consistent representation of EULAR and strengthen partnerships across various networks.
Your profile:
- Vocational training (KV) with further education (desirable but not essential) in administration, communications or similar field.
- Preferred: two to four years of professional experience in any of the abovementioned fields.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Positive, can-do attitude with strong multi-tasking and organisational abilities.
- Solid editing and researching skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with digital marketing tools.
- Solid writing skills. Resourceful and coherent.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Creative and innovative mindset.
- Interest in working with diverse people from different cultures.
- Availability for occasional international travels (EULAR Congress).
