SIX Securities Services is subject to numerous regulatory requirements due to its important function as a central custodian for securities in Switzerland, especially in the tax area.
To meet the numerous requirements and the increasing customer needs in the tax area, SIX Securities Services offers a training program in the tax area with the aim of focused junior staff development.
As part of the one-year internship, participants learn, among other things, the most important types of taxes for securities and support depot documentation and opening along the intermediary chain, as well as the processing of various tax refund claims.
These are your tasks
- Risk-minimized and customer-friendly handling of various daily business tasks within the Regulatory Tax team in the areas of US Tax & Transaction Based Taxes as well as Account Documentation. In the Tax Processing Services team, you will also learn to handle tax refund services in various markets.
- Support in operational, administrative, and analytical activities, as well as support in publications and tax-relevant projects.
- Collaboration on further, more complex tax topics
- Creation and ordering of various tax documents
- Independent processing of customer inquiries
- Conducting professional clarifications with custodian banks, tax authorities, and other counterparties
- Supporting the teams in various activities
What you bring with you
- Completed bachelor's degree in business administration or business informatics
- Experience in handling data and data analysis is an advantage
- Team player with initiative and confident communication skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as good organizational skills and independent working style, MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
