• Responsible for approval and certification activities in international modernization projects of rail vehicles
• Coordination with authorities, infrastructure operators, assessment bodies, and experts
• Coordination with engineering departments, type test management, and Stadler service locations
• Development of generic approval concepts for overarching modernization topics on rail vehicles
• Consulting engineering and product development on approval issues during the sales phase
• Assessment of the changed configuration for approval and safety relevance in cooperation with the Safety Manager.

• Completed studies (FH/ETH/TU) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or a comparable degree
• Very good German and English skills (level B2), Italian skills are an advantage
• Experience in approval and technical knowledge of rail vehicles is an advantage
• Open, communicative, and flexible personality with an independent, structured, and forward-looking way of working
• Affinity for process-compliant use of requirements, verification, and document management systems (e.g., DOORS, Teamcenter)
