About the job
The Climate and Environmental Physics is a department of the Physics Institute of the University of Bern. Our goal is to understand the processes of the Earth system from seasons to millions of years.
From March 1, 2026, or by agreement, we are looking for a new team member for our secretariat. The part-time position is especially recommended for younger people who are completing the vocational baccalaureate BM 2 classically (part-time over two years) or are pursuing a subject-specific additional qualification alongside their job. The position is initially limited to two years. An extension is planned if suitable.

• Organization of events in research and education
Requirements
• Completed commercial training in a training company
• Good IT skills: entire Office suite, time recording system, Filemaker or similar
• Independent, reliable and precise working style
• Very good oral and written language skills in German and English
• Quick comprehension, networked thinking, flexibility and resilience
• Ability to work in a team
