Social Worker Joker (limited until December 31, 2028) 70%The youth public prosecutors conduct criminal investigations against children and adolescents aged 10 to 18, file charges with the juvenile court, and enforce juvenile criminal law judgments and decisions.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a social worker (joker) 70% immediately or by arrangement. In this important role, you will flexibly support the five different youth public prosecutors as needed and bring your open-minded, analytical thinking, and people-oriented working style. The position is initially limited until 12/31/2028. Become part of a dynamic environment and get to know the entire juvenile criminal justice system of the Canton of Zurich.
These tasks await you:
- You clarify the personal circumstances of delinquent youths and prepare reports according to KORJUS.
- You implement the ordered sanctions (protective measures and penalties) and monitor their progress.
- In individual cases, you accompany and support youths and their parents.
- You conduct offense-specific learning programs with youths.
- You network with other youth welfare authorities and participate in working groups.
- You support the five regional youth public prosecutors on site in case of personnel shortages or special situations.
This is what distinguishes you:
- You have a degree from a university of applied sciences or a higher technical school for social work and have completed a subject-specific further education (CAS or similar).
- You bring at least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- You have interest and willingness to work in various interdisciplinary teams and to continuously develop professionally and methodologically.
- You are a committed and resilient person and show an open and positive attitude towards people.
- You are used to working independently and in a structured manner and are skilled in oral and written expression.
- You have an affinity for IT.
