As part of the Human Resources department, the HR Controlling team is responsible for the financial management of personnel costs. We work closely with other organizational units and are involved in central planning and reporting processes. We combine numerical understanding with strategic thinking. Based on the transparency we create with our data, well-founded decisions can be made.
Your tasks
- Participation in the planning and management of personnel costs and FTEs of the university
- Independent execution and active participation in projects, e.g., migration of the staffing plan to a new platform
- Analysis and preparation of data to support strategic decisions
- Creation of periodic reports for internal and external clients
- Ensuring functioning interfaces with other organizational units
- Contribution to the further development of controlling instruments and reporting processes
- Conceptual further development of HR controlling at the university, e.g., development of dashboards and other tools to support the line
- Participation in ongoing processes as well as day-to-day business
Your profile
- Strong interest in working with numbers and pronounced analytical thinking skills
- Several years of controlling experience
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, including complex functions, pivot tables, and Power Query
- Knowledge of SAP (HR and FI)
- Proactive, independent working style and willingness to take responsibility
- Enjoyment in dealing with complex tasks
- Networked thinking and ability to recognize connections across organizational units
- Strong communication skills, especially in exchange with stakeholders and clients, as well as the ability to conduct difficult conversations and represent interests
- Strong customer orientation and ability to change perspectives
