About the job

You work in a specialized teaching class of cycle 2, which is entrusted to you in accordance with the mission of Alter École. This class is located in the premises of Alter École in Tavannes and accommodates between 6 and 8 students.

The class is managed by a duo of teachers (each with half a class mastery), assisted by a trainee.

You work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, as well as Friday mornings in another class, cycle 1.

In collaboration with the educational team, you plan and prepare your lessons referring to the PER and the individualized project of each student. You create favorable learning conditions adapted to our students. You encourage and supervise interactions between students and promote their autonomy.

Profile sought

• Master's degree in specialized teaching or remedial pedagogy
• or
• Teaching diploma with experience in the specialized field
• Experience in supporting students with special needs
• Flexibility regarding the students taken care of
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary and institutional teams

Start date: August 1, 2026

Duration of the mandate: indefinite (permanent contract)
