The gaw Society for Work and Living is a non-profit organization with heart and commitment. Since 1987, we have been supporting people with mental disabilities on their way to an independent life – with around 230 jobs and training places and 35 residential places in the Basel region.
Gelati Gasparini is a gaw company based in Münchenstein and produces ice cream according to traditional craftsmanship. To strengthen our team in Münchenstein BL, we are looking for an internal sales employee (50%) immediately or by arrangement. In this position, you report directly to the head of sales. You support the customer service team and ensure optimal order control/processing together with the team.
Your mission:
- Order processing - from receipt to invoicing
- Assistance with route planning / creating picking/delivery notes and invoices
- Assistance in managing freezer and promotional material inventory
- Assistance in the factory shop / cash register / cash book
- Handling sponsorship requests
- Processing various consumer and dealer inquiries
- Assistance in client support
- General administrative tasks
What we are looking for:
- Completed commercial training EFZ
- Experience in customer service required (consumer goods sector advantageous)
- Customer-friendly demeanor and strong social skills
- Flexibility and commitment (strongly fluctuating order volumes depending on weather)
- High resilience (peak season) and quick learning ability
- Good PC skills and a flair for numbers
- Confident German skills, French skills are an advantage
