You will work at both sites. The hours are fixed, Monday to Friday, with participation in the Saturday morning on-call rotation at the abC (Espace Saint-Loup), proportional to the engagement rate.
Context
The University Hospital of Vaud (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Vaud Anorexia Bulimia Center (abC), attached to the Liaison Psychiatry Service of the Department of Psychiatry, cares for adolescents from 13 years old and adults suffering from anorexia nervosa and/or bulimia, on two sites:
- in Lausanne, for outpatient consultation and the day center,
- in Pompaples (Espace Saint-Loup), within a 16-bed hospitalization unit.
The abC works closely with SUPEA for minor patients and also ensures an inter-cantonal mission.
SUPEA cares for children and adolescents from 0 to 18 years old in the Central, North, and West regions of the canton of Vaud, through specialized psychiatric and psychotherapeutic follow-ups.
Mission
- You ensure clinical activities and supervision of adolescent patient care at the abC
- You participate in liaison activities between the different network partners
- You supervise SUPEA assistant psychologists working at the abC
- You participate in teachings and training organized by the abC management
- You ensure the updating of administrative tasks, in accordance with unit rules.
Profile
- You hold a Master’s degree in psychology and a federally recognized specialist psychologist title in psychotherapy
- You have the right to practice in the canton of Vaud
- You have completed or are enrolled in the UNIL eating disorders (TCA) training
- You show interest in team supervision and are willing to train in this area
- You possess very good knowledge of child and adolescent clinical practice as well as psychological assessment tools
- You demonstrate excellent interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- You write easily in French
- You are driven by scientific curiosity and have a strong interest in the complementarity of theoretical models.
To finalize the hiring file, the selected person must provide a practice authorization issued by the Canton of Vaud, or start the necessary procedures to obtain it within three months (probation period).
