Your Role:
This role will focus on developing and delivering compelling product messaging, enabling our sales teams with the tools they need to succeed, while driving external product communication to elevate Verity’s market presence.
The ideal candidate will have experience in crafting product narratives, creating content that resonates with diverse audiences, and empowering sales with effective enablement materials. You will work closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams to build a cohesive and impactful product marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Enablement
- Develop and deliver sales enablement materials, including product collateral, presentations, case studies, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand needs and tailor content to address common customer pain points.
- Create and maintain competitive analysis and battle cards to position Verity against industry competitors.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the sales team is proficient with messaging and product positioning.
- Own ICP and personas definitions and materials.
Content Creation
- Work hand-in-hand with both the Head of Demand Generation and the Product team to define content roadmaps, gap analysis and assess content effectiveness
- Lead content strategy and execution, creating high-quality assets such as white papers, blog posts, eBooks, videos, and webinars.
- Own the development of product messaging and value propositions that communicate Verity’s unique capabilities and benefits.
- Collaborate with content and design teams to ensure brand consistency across all materials.
External Product Communication
- Serve as a product ambassador and collaborate with PR and comms the marketing teams to amplify messaging through media, events, and social digital channels.
- Draft press releases, product announcements, and external communications that reinforce Verity’s leadership in autonomous inventory management.
- Monitor market trends and customer insights to inform messaging and positioning adjustments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product management to understand new features and translate technical details into compelling narratives.
- Be in close contact with clients (focus groups, site visits, shadowing sales calls)
- Partner with demand generation teams to optimize product messaging for lead generation campaigns.
- Gather customer and market insights to inform product positioning and strategy.
Your Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in technology or SaaS.
- Proven track record of successful sales enablement and content creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to gather and interpret market data.
- Experience with product launches and coordinating cross-functional activities.
- Proficiency with marketing and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce and Pardot).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
