Our self-developed in vitro diagnostic products (IVD) are used globally by hospitals and diagnostic laboratories. The Development department is looking for a researcher as of January 2026 (or according to availability) for the following position:

Scientist Neuroimmunology IVD Development (100%) Your Responsibilities
- Lead project phases during the development of new IVD products in a regulated, project management-based environment, including design transfer to manufacturing and quality control
- Manage internal stakeholders to align regulatory, quality, and marketing requirements within the design and development process
- Coordinate with external stakeholders along the supply chain and within research collaborations
- Support clinical evaluation studies
- Improve existing products based on immunological test systems, such as ELISA
- Conduct wet lab activities to independently drive development projects through phase-gate milestones, particularly using standard molecular biology techniques such as cloning of constructs and their expression in various systems with subsequent purification
- Document and evaluate results with precision and diligence, and maintain databases
- Provide laboratory training for employees and customers
- University degree (MSc or PhD) in natural sciences (Biochemistry, Biology, Biophysics, Immunology, or related field)
- Experience with various immunoassay platforms
- Strong background in molecular biology techniques (PCR, cloning, Western blot, FPLC, etc.)
- Solid skills in software-supported data analysis (Excel, R, Origin, etc.)
- Expertise in glycolipid biochemistry is a plus
- Industry experience and knowledge of GxP guidelines is preferred
- Languages: Fluent in English; advanced German is an asset
