Class and annual salary (including 13th month):
2 47'348.-- / 72'822.--
Tasks:
- follow ordinary maintenance work along the entire cantonal road network under the responsibility of the Alpine Maintenance Center (CMAlp) and, if necessary, provide service in other sectors of the Operations and Maintenance Area (AEM)
- verify the need for intervention during the winter period, ordering and controlling related third-party services
- control additional third-party services within the scope of ordinary road maintenance work
- report dangerous situations, taking necessary measures
- intervene in case of special events (accidents, floods, landslides, avalanches, etc.), informing superiors and correctly adopting the work processes imposed by CMAlp
- provide on-call service (summer and winter) throughout the year, based on seasonal planning and perform shift work outside normal hours, on holidays and at night, as needed
- carry out all activities in compliance with received instructions, current safety regulations, within the times and manners established by current service directives and procedures
Requirements:
- federal certificate of competence (AFC) in a technical or craft profession (construction, civil engineering, forestry, metal constructions, gardening, etc.)
- previous practical experience in these same professional fields or related professions, according to orientation.ch sheet (road maintenance worker)
- excellent knowledge of the territory where the main activity will be carried out (Blenio Valley and Riviera). Preference will be given to candidates residing in the CMAlp area of responsibility
- proven experience working on road maintenance sites with traffic present. Particular attention will be paid to the candidate's knowledge of site signage, accident prevention, and personal safety
- driving license category B and BE. Preference will be given to candidates also holding category C license and the driver qualification card (CQC), pursuant to the ordinance on driver admission (OAut)
- initiative, adaptability, and good teamwork skills
- good physical condition

Employment conditions:
