What you’ll be doing:
As a Data Engineer, you will be at the core of our analytics and BI initiatives, designing scalable data platforms and enabling data-driven decision-making across various industries. Your responsibilities will include:
- Build scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT, streaming) and semantic BI layers
- Design and operate Lakehouse architectures
- Develop and maintain dashboards and analytics platforms
- Ensure security, scalability, and monitoring of our data infrastructure
- Collaborate with experts in data science, machine learning, and cloud engineering
What you’ll need:
We’re looking for a hands-on data engineer with a passion for building scalable data solutions and enabling analytics at enterprise scale. Ideally, you bring:
- Senior-level experience in data engineering & BI
- Strong background with cloud platforms (Databricks, AWS, Azure)
- Hands-on expertise in data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL
- Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and both SQL & NoSQL databases
- Language skills (min. C1): German and English
- University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Informatics, or a related field
