As the leading clinic for adult psychiatry and psychotherapy in Switzerland, we not only fulfill the care mandate of the canton of Zurich but also act as a university institution with research and teaching assignments from the University of Zurich. At 8 locations, including five clinical facilities and a research center, over 1000 dedicated employees create a versatile and dynamic working environment. The Center for Social Psychiatry (Chief Physician PD. Dr. med. Stefan Vetter) offers extensive outpatient and partial inpatient as well as inpatient short-term services (crisis intervention). Innovative therapy concepts are an integral part of our clinical offerings.
For the inpatient crisis intervention (KIZ), we are looking for a position starting April 1, 2026, or by arrangement
Your tasks
- Initiation and moderation of forward-looking change processes as well as active implementation of the clinic's and center's strategic principles
- Ensuring and further developing quality guidelines with consistent consideration of WZW criteria (effectiveness, appropriateness, economy)
- Professional, organizational, and personnel management of a team of 16 employees (nurses and temporary staff) together with the deputy
- Ensuring best-practice-oriented, patient-centered treatment quality
- Designing a multiprofessional and integrative working method in close collaboration with your leadership partners
- Active participation in concept and project work as well as their implementation
- Active improvement of ward occupancy as well as targeted and economical use of available resources
- Ensuring that processes and treatments meet the requirements of effectiveness, appropriateness, and economy
- Cross-departmental leadership, collaboration, and use of shared services to create synergies and strengthen the integration of areas
Your profile
- Completed and recognized professional training in the HF or FH field
- Proven management experience that benefits your team
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting with a focus on efficient and WZW-compliant service delivery
- Willingness to take responsibility for achieving business management targets
- High value placed on supporting, promoting, and developing the team
- Knowledge of agile leadership methods and their application in the team
