Job Description
As a service technician, you ensure the flawless function of our products through inspections and repairs directly in our in-house workshop.
Your main tasks essentially include:
- Careful inspection of hydraulic units, assemblies, and individual parts to ensure their quality and functionality.
- You independently carry out repairs and service work, ensuring that our products always meet the highest standards.
- Both in the internal and external service, you are responsible for professional assembly work on hydraulically operated machines and systems.
- If necessary, you support our customers through assembly assignments on-site in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
- Through your technical expertise and proximity to the customer, you recognize sales opportunities and actively contribute to the "blue-collar sales" by advising customers on suitable solutions and products.
- With your approachable personality and technical expertise, you support young people in training as production mechanics EFZ.
Qualifications
Education: Completed technical basic training, ideally as an electrician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician, polymechanic, or agricultural machinery mechanic. Ideally, training as a vocational trainer is present. Completed further training as a technician HF or maintenance specialist is often an advantage.
Work Experience: Ideally several years of professional experience as a service technician, fitter, or in technical field service. Experience in commissioning, maintenance, and repair of systems is particularly positive.
Experience and Know-how: Solid manual skills and broad technical understanding in the field of drive and control through hydraulics. Confident handling of PC and common software (e.g., MS Office)
Personal Characteristics: An independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style. You are a team player, communicative, and enjoy direct customer contact. Willingness to travel for assignments in Switzerland is required.
Languages: Very good German skills in spoken and written form. Good English skills are an advantage.
