Head of Business Unit Universal Machines
Member of the Executive Board (m/f/d | 100%)
Your Responsibilities
- Strategic and operational management of the Universal Machines business unit, including defining target costs, further developing the product strategy, and close cooperation with the parent company and the financial functions located there
- Responsibility for the further development of the Herten site, where you, as Branch Manager, will utilize existing resources and sustainably expand the site as well as coordinate all operational activities in cooperation with central functions
- Further development of our EVO series to the next level (quality, robustness, costs, production suitability, variants) – here you can fully apply your solid technical experience and education to make the machine platform future-proof
- Production optimization along the entire value chain, including supplier visits together with purchasing and production management to simplify components, reduce costs, and sustainably improve delivery capability and quality
Your Profile
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in mechanical engineering in manufacturing/production, product management, or industrial standardization
- Strong communication skills, structured, assertive
- Willingness to regularly work at both locations (Germany and Switzerland)
- Fluent in German and English
- Passion for technology and a hands-on mentality with a strong focus on service optimization and customer orientation
