About the job
Our mission at FoodTechScout AG: We connect specialists and executives from the food and FoodTech industry with the right companies. And vice versa.
Our client, MMS AG Membrane Systems, is an innovative Swiss technology company based in Urdorf, specialising in membrane technology for the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, and biotech industries. They develop, design, build, and automate plants entirely in-house.
What you can achieve:
- Develop 3D models and technical drawings for modular membrane and process plants.
- Design and plan pipelines, plant components, and assemblies with a view to practical manufacturing.
- Close coordination with engineering, automation, process engineering, and workshop to turn plans into functioning technology.
- Support manufacturing with technical queries and find pragmatic solutions directly at the plant.
- Define special components and accompany their procurement.
- Provide technical support to purchasing in selecting suitable components.
- Contribute your own ideas to continuously develop designs, processes, and plant manufacturing.
To succeed in this, your profile includes:
- Enjoyment of design and technical drawing, interest in technology, and eagerness to learn new things.
- Technical basic training as a designer EFZ, plant and apparatus builder EFZ, draughtsman EFZ, building services planner, or equivalent.
- Several years of experience in pipeline and plant construction, ideally in the food, beverage, or dairy industry.
- Very good knowledge of 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
- Good understanding of P&IDs, pipelines, pumps, valves, and process plants.
- A proactive and solution-oriented working style and enjoyment of collaboration with engineering, workshop, and other departments.
- Good German and English skills.
What you can look forward to:
- Comprehensive induction and development within the company
- Instead of long interfaces, there is a close connection between design and in-house manufacturing.
- You take on responsibility beyond mere drawing creation.
- A growing company with short decision-making paths and a hands-on mentality
- Home office possible by arrangement
