YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
In this role, you take on the technical responsibility for the EMC-compliant development of our rail vehicles. This position particularly includes the following tasks and activities:
- Evaluation of requirements, development of concepts and development specifications, as well as verification of their implementation
- Planning and execution of analyses and measurements in cooperation with internal and external measurement institutes
- Coordination between the various technical departments regarding EMC topics
- Performing calculations and simulations concerning electromagnetic interference
- Systematic recording of EMC risks and derivation of measures to reduce risks
- Preparation of technical documentation and reports
- Consulting and training colleagues on EMC-relevant topics
- Presentation of technical solutions and professional discussions with customers, suppliers, authorities, and experts
- Participation in committees for the strategic further development of the department
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, physics, or a comparable field
- Experience in conducting EMC measurements and analyses
- Comprehensive expertise in the field of EMC desirable, ideally in the rail vehicle industry
- Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines is an advantage
- Good German and English skills (level B2)
