Available junior assistant positions in the field of gynecology and obstetrics from June 2026.
The Cantonal Hospital Uri is highly committed to qualified young professionals in healthcare and non-medical professions. With around 80 training positions, we are one of the largest training providers in the region. Nestled in the beautiful mountain landscape at the southern end of Lake Lucerne, the region offers numerous sporting (30 minutes to various ski destinations) and cultural leisure opportunities as well as an excellent connection to the urban areas of Zurich and Lucerne. We offer training positions lasting one to four months in three different departments.The junior assistants receive versatile training and competent supervision from the responsible doctors. We value a good teaching and learning culture as well as a pleasant working atmosphere and a trusting interaction. The junior assistants are equated with fully enrolled students of the Medical Faculty of Zurich in their training-related rights and duties for the duration of the training. The practical training completed is identical in content to that provided to fully enrolled medical students at the University of Zurich.
