Your Tasks
The advertised position is located in the MediaDock workshop.
- Ensuring a professional workshop operation
- Responsibility and organization of the implementation of workshop and machine park introductions/workshops/talks for students and workshop users ( Workshop Platform MediaDock )
- Responsible for ongoing documentation of recipes and tools of the workshop platform
- Support and advice for students and lecturers in teaching projects as well as in module and bachelor/master theses, e.g. Data Design + Art , CameraArt , Object Design , Art and Mediation , Digital Ideation, as well as support for lecturers and assistants in the preparation and implementation of teaching in the workshop
- Development, supervision and maintenance of the machine park/hardware/software – the facilities and devices of the workshop
- Compliance with regulations, safety requirements and quality standards
- Further development of the workshop in collaboration with the workshop manager and the Digitality Commission ( See number 11)
- Consulting and, if necessary, support of the administration in IT-related matters
Your Profile
- Education and professional experience in the fields of computer science or electronics as well as a creative-artistic-digital education (Bachelor) or comparable knowledge
- Network/hardware knowledge
- Software and programming/coding skills
- Generative AI knowledge
- Knowledge and curiosity about working with various digital future technologies (VR/AI/3D scan) and willingness to acquire these skills
- Interest in new things and joy in working with creative, innovative people
- Committed, patient, responsible, socially competent personality
- Good language skills in German and English, both spoken and written are desired
