The Unemployment Fund department of the Canton of Lucerne is responsible for the implementation of the tasks assigned by the Federal Act on Mandatory Unemployment Insurance and Insolvency Compensation (AVIG). In the clerical area, we offer you a temporary, interesting, and challenging position until June 30, 2026, in the processing and examination of applications for unemployment compensation.
Your tasks
- You independently process incoming mail and forward it to the responsible persons.
- You check documents for completeness and request necessary documents.
- You are responsible for dunning and ensure timely processing.
- You initiate second payments to insured persons.
- You are the contact person for written as well as telephone inquiries.
- You take over the counter representation and advise insured persons.
Your skills
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or a comparable education and preferably have professional experience in the field of health or social insurance.
- You maintain good manners, are conflict- and team-capable, resilient, and keep an overview even in hectic times.
- You are characterized by your high service orientation and enjoy contact with people.
- You have a reliable and precise way of working and also bring good IT application skills (MS Office).
- You are flexible and willing to take on additional tasks if needed.
