Arxada in Visp is looking for a Specialist / Technician Process Analytics (Process Analytics Technician).
In this role, you are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and calibration of state-of-the-art process analysis equipment. You ensure the reliable availability of process analysis systems and thus directly contribute to process safety, emissions monitoring, and automated plant operation.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensuring optimal availability of process analysis equipment as well as their safe and compliant installation and commissioning
- Maintenance of process analysis devices as an essential part of process safety, emissions monitoring, and controlled automated plant operation
- Main tasks include calibration of existing analysis devices, installation of analysis devices that meet the latest state of the art
- Responsible for timely and cost-efficient planning and execution of projects
- Responsible for precise safety- and quality-relevant PA equipment
Qualifications and experience:
- Completed training as a laboratory technician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or chemical technician
- Independent working style and analytical thinking are essential for maintenance activities in the field
- Sense of responsibility and decisiveness
- Fluent German and good English skills
- Experience in process analytics is desirable
- Experience in the chemical industry is an advantage
- Experience in maintenance of technical equipment is a plus
