Every year, many young people take the leap into professional life with us as cooks and chefs, kitchen staff EBA, health professionals (FaGe), health and social assistants (AGS), hospitality and housekeeping professionals EFZ and EBA, as well as commercial employees. Or complete a Nursing Specialist HF degree.

The Dielsdorf Health Center is a specialized nursing institution with around 430 employees in the Zurich lowlands and ensures care at nursing places for the 22 political municipalities of the Dielsdorf district with approximately 90,000 inhabitants. With over 200 beds, the inpatient offering of general long-term care is complemented by specialized treatment pathways for rehabilitative acute and transitional care, palliative care, psychiatric geriatrics, and the focus on dementia.

The Regional Spitex forms an important part of the care offering. It provides outpatient services for the five contract municipalities. In the future, it is planned to establish a night Spitex.

• Care and support of our patients and residents

• Ensuring the nursing process

• Case management and conducting needs assessments in tandem with a certified nursing specialist

• Creation, adjustment, and evaluation of nursing documentation

• Accurate recording of performance data

• Collaboration with relatives, doctors, hospitals, and other specialist agencies

• Integrated 6-month external internship possible in Regional Spitex

• Duration of training: 3 years (shortened HF studies of 2 years possible with completed apprenticeship as health professional EFZ)

• Own Learning Transfer Training (LTT), including regular exchange with HF students from partner companies

• Completed apprenticeship as health professional EFZ, Matura or equivalent

• Good German skills in spoken and written form (at least level C1)

• Empathy and high social competence in dealing with patients, residents, and their relatives

• Practical understanding, a strong sense of responsibility, and an independent working style

• Active and situation-appropriate relationship and communication skills

• Resilient, sociable, and humorous personality with good observation skills

• Joy in working for and with people

• Willingness to further develop expertise and make an important contribution to the success of our health center

• Attended information event on Nursing HF studies at a higher technical school ZAG or Careum and/or registered
