We are looking for an IT Support – Medical Imaging specialist to support and maintain medical imaging applications (RIS/PACS).
The role focuses on operational support, system availability, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners, under the supervision of the RIS/PACS Manager.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2–3 technical and functional support for medical imaging applications (RIS/PACS)
- Analyse incidents and implement sustainable, long-term solutions
- Ensure availability, performance, and security compliance of imaging systems
- Perform regular technical checks and system inspections
- Coordinate and monitor interventions with vendors and external partners, ensuring clear communication and follow-up
- Configure and adapt applications based on operational needs and manage non-project development requests
- Maintain technical documentation in line with internal standards
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes
- Experience in a hospital or clinical environment and/or with medical imaging applications (RIS/PACS)
- Good understanding of:
- DICOM
- RIS / PACS
- HL7 concepts (nice to have)
- Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders (radiologists, MRTs, medical secretaries, biomedical engineers)
- High sense of service orientation and professionalism
- Ability to work autonomously with rigor and proactivity
- Comfortable handling complex and high-pressure situations
- Team-oriented, diplomatic, and solution-driven mindset
- Fluent French and English (written and spoken), German is a plus
- Friendly, supportive, and flexible personality with quick learning ability
- Good team player with planning, organising & multi-tasking skills
