Electrician Installer at the Construction Department
The Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety Department of the CHUV is looking for an electrician installer with an activity rate between 80% and 100% to complete its team in Yverdon-les-Bains. The starting date is scheduled for March 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and the EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, research, and education.
The Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety Department of the CHUV (CIT-S) has as its main activities the operation, maintenance, construction, engineering, technical assistance, and consulting within its extensive real estate portfolio of more than 40 buildings on the main hospital site.
The 3 main missions of the Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety Department (CIT-S):
- Construction and modernization: ensure the study and realization of architectural projects, as well as the renovation of technical installations.
- Operation: ensure the maintenance of all technical and biomedical equipment, as well as the infrastructures of the CHUV and its affiliates. Guarantee the production and distribution of fluids and energies necessary for all medical, research, technical, and administrative activities.
- Protection and safety: ensure the protection of property and people.
Mission
- You are responsible for the operation of installations related to buildings as well as technical equipment and installations
- You take care of monitoring and acceptance of transformation and construction works of the hospital city in high and low voltage
- You participate in the on-call rotation, according to the service organization.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an electrician installer or an equivalent recognized qualification
- You have knowledge and experience in the basic trade
- You have good knowledge and are versatile in other technical trades (refrigeration, electronics, sanitary, heating, BMS), a plus
- You are willing to provide on-call and site guard services
- You hold a category B driving license
- You live less than 45 minutes from the workplace due to on-call duty requirements.
