The operations administrator ensures the planning, monitoring, and management of batch processing on strategic business applications. They guarantee the smooth execution of scheduled processes using scheduling tools and ensure compliance with production deadlines.
They participate in the implementation and optimization of processing chains, the definition of scheduling standards, and the industrialization of batch procedures through scripting. They work closely with technical teams and functional managers to ensure the consistency and reliability of processes.
Within the scope of operations, they provide second-level technical support, participate in diagnosing and resolving incidents, and execute recovery or restart procedures in case of malfunction. They also intervene during application deployments and coordinate actions between different technical teams.
Finally, they contribute to the operation of technical platforms and participate in the implementation of ITIL processes related to incident management, problem management, change management, and service continuity.
Computer science training at HES level, CFC computer science or equivalent, with ITIL Foundation certification.
Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in batch scheduling and operation of Linux / Unix and Windows Server platforms.
Good command of Red Hat Linux environments, network basics, databases, as well as Shell scripting.
Experience with a scheduling tool (ideally Control-M) for managing and supervising processing chains.
Knowledge of the EasyVista tool is an asset.
The candidate must demonstrate autonomy, be able to collaborate with different technical teams, and provide effective user support.
