We support our client, an established and regionally rooted company in the healthcare sector, in the search for an experienced professional for the finance department. In this responsible role, you will make an important contribution to a reliable financial organisation, take on diverse accounting tasks, and support the further development of processes and structures.
To strengthen the team, we are looking from immediately, fixed-term for 2 months, with the option of extension, for a reliable, analytical and committed individual as
Team Leader Financial Accounting 100% (a) (fixed-term for 2 months), Zurich North Region
Your tasks:
- Deputising for the Head of Financial Accounting and providing professional support to the team
- Responsibility for general ledger and fixed asset accounting
- Assisting with monthly and annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER
- Preparation of VAT returns and support with tax matters
- Preparation of reports, analyses and decision-making bases
- Participation in financial projects as well as optimisation of processes and workflows
- Close collaboration with internal departments and external partners
- Taking responsibility in day-to-day business and supporting the team
Your profile:
- Commercial basic training with further education in finance and accounting (Federal Diploma FA)
- Several years of professional experience in accounting with solid practice in the Swiss financial sector
- Good knowledge of accounting according to OR and experience in financial statement preparation
- Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- Experience in consolidation or group accounting desirable
- Confident German language skills, both spoken and written
- Analytical and structured thinking as well as an independent and solution-oriented working style
- High sense of responsibility, accuracy and strong service orientation
- Team-oriented and communicative personality with enthusiasm for professional exchange and knowledge transfer
